This sow(Grizzly Female) now has four cubs. It is believed that two of these cubs are adopted do to how rare it is for a sow to have more than two cubs.

Grizzly bears can weigh up to 1,500lbs and can live up to 25 to 30 years.

These bears are not shy at Yellowstone and can be seen almost every morning and evening at Washburn trail and for those less daring people you can get a good view of them by pulling off at the side of the road near Dunraven Pass.

Remember to keep your distance it is recommended that you stay 100yards away from bears in Yellowstone NP. Hiking is a great why to see Yellowstone, but make sure you are prepared Mountain House Freeze-Dried Food
A Special thanks to Marion D. for providing me with these wonderful pictures.

That looks good. I personally feel they are all her cubs due to her condition. She looks to me like she has been feeding these cubs all summer, and is quite thin all though the cubs look good.
There have been a couple of documented cases of quads before in the Park, so it isn't unheard of. The only way they could really know for sure would be to do DNA and lets hope they allow everyone to have their own theory and not stress the bears. I have also heard the theory that 2 of them are coming 2 year olds, but they don't look that big to me. The runt looks small compared to the others, and it is stressed easily, it kept running up on a rock and crying.
thanks,
Marion
